He was sitting on a warm sunny beach in Nantucket when a
pink and blue Land Rover whisked him away, enlisting him to join a team of
prospective “Brand Ambassadors” on a trip to London.
Welcome to the world of the college brand ambassador. Ambassadors
for Jack Wills hand out the infamous yellow “party-pants” to deserving students
in return for their information. The students then receive the catalogue and
are directed to the stores, website, and social media outlets used such as
Facebook and Twitter.
